Blue Cross Society, Pune – The charitable organisation working against cruelty towards animals and caring for them. We participated at The Urban Ashram at the event Art with a Heart. on May 16 & 17, 2009. The event was a mélange of artists displaying their works of art, social cause info booths, and events and workshops which will involve all age groups in different and creative ways.
From this event, you could take away more than just the magnificent works of art. We had puppies which were brought to the exhibition who needed to be adopted and pampered. On this occasion, the visitors could actually meet, play and cuddle some of the puppies and grownups that could be adopted on the spot. Also it gave an opportunity to volunteer for/help/or get acquainted with the organisation.
