The
stray dog or pig who gets run over by a callous driver, the cat who
skins herself trying to escape a predator, the puppy who is stoned
by naughty children, the neglected cow or donkey who swallows plastic
in the garbage, the aged cart horse or bullock who is heartlessly
abandoned after years of uncomplaining service ...these are the animals
who share our city.
Today, rapidly increasing urbanization has changed the man-animal
relationship to the disadvantage of the animals. The close, symbiotic
relationship they once shared has diminished to such an extent that
we are now becoming a society incapable of sharing and caring for
animals, and indeed, even for humans.
Blue Cross Society of Pune is committed to providing the best possible
care, assistance and shelter to such animals in distress.
Come, join our crusade for suffering animals. |
